Ward Messer

Ward Messer Born July 9th, 1917 in Amsterdam.

After the liberation he and Ekker together ran the Utrecht office of Het Parool. Later he was managing editor at Het Vrije Volk where he was appointed editor-in-chief on April 1st, 1968.

From 1970 until his retirement in 1977 he was managing director of Het Vrije Volk in Rotterdam.

He died on November 14th, 2001.
