Saartje Oudkerk was born May 31st, 1916 in Amsterdam.
She trained to be a pharmacist assistant an medical laboratory analyst. She was head of the laboratory of the Dutch-Israelitic Hospital in Amsterdam until she was deported in September 1943.
On August 21st 1945, she married Henk Pelser.
